RaiseMe Transfer

Penn State’s network of 19 Commonwealth Campuses provide Pennsylvania Community College students with options – options to complete a Penn State baccalaureate degree and earn the skills that the workforce needs.

Students who enroll at Pennsylvania Community Colleges and transfer to Penn State Commonwealth campuses can earn a baccalaureate degree at considerable savings.

You can save thousands of dollars in Penn State tuition annually by enrolling at one of Penn State’s 19 Commonwealth campuses, and by adding a RaiseMe award, you can earn up to a maximum of $7,000 more over two years of enrollment at Penn State.

The best part – you can start earning your Penn State RaiseMe scholarship while you are working toward graduation at a community college. Earn micro-scholarships for things you’re already doing – getting good grades, participating in co-curricular activities, volunteering in your community, and more. When you transfer to Penn State, your micro-scholarships will be converted to a Penn State scholarship.

Transfer scholarship, STEM program sets Abington student up for success

ABINGTON, Pa. — Two initiatives for transfer students eased Mark Tyler’s transition this fall from community college to Penn State Abington: a $2,000 RaiseMe scholarship and the STEM Inc. Inclusion and Innovation program.

Tyler, a biology major, earned the RaiseMe funds thanks to his good grades at Bucks County Community College. His academic achievements also led to his selection for the STEM Inc. summer program, which is exclusively for transfer students and offers mentoring, support, and exposure to academic and student life offerings.

Our dedicated transfer admissions counselors will provide one-on-one support to help you select an academic program, transfer your credits, and plan for your successful transition to Penn State.
